Child Free Weekend at Overstone Park #ad

Mr D and I love our family breaks and when we had Didi we made it a must in our family to have them as regular as possible. However, it seems lately I am enjoying our child free weekends a lot too. I love Didi overly, but every now and again it is necessary to have a break from family life and have some couple time.

Anyway so Valentines weekend is very busy in our house because Mr D was born on the 14th and I, a few days earlier on the 10th of February. Our two birthdays and valentines make it impossible for us to not make a fuss (More me); I’m the fussy one sometimes.

So last weekend, Mr D and I headed off for the weekend. Our stay was at Overstone Park Hotel and Golf Resort, Thank you Overstone staff for the wonderful hospitality. Excuse the pictures that i took of the place as they did not do it justice.

Overstone is tucked away on a quiet somewhat residential street, in the beautiful countryside of Northampton-shire.

The rooms are all nicely decorated. Sometimes simplicity is best. They even had a cot prepared as they were ready to cater for Didi, but we left her with Mum and Dad. We had free wifi, a kettle, hairdryer, flat-screen TV and an en suite, it had everything we needed.

The next morning, we had breakfast downstairs – included with the continental options of fruit, pastries, juice, yoghurt, cereals and toast, Hot tea and coffee was served and we were offered a full English. Nom Nom 🙂

The whole weekend was absolutely beautiful.

You should pay Overstone a visit.
